Booking Cebu Pacific Flight Without Using Credit Card

UPDATE: Cebu Pacific's website has new look so I also updated the step-by-step-guide on how you can book ticket online using Cebu Pacific website.

A lot of people still does not leverage the benefits of the internet in booking their flights. They still depend on booking agents which charges additional fees to their booking itineraries.

What if I tell you that you can book your flight in Cebu Pacific even without a credit card? And the process is so easy and convenient because they actually have lots of payment partners and like everywhere in the country.

I learned about this back in 2015 when I availed of a promo of Cebu Pacific to travel to Bukidnon for my birthday from Manila to Laguindingan International Airport.

I saw a post from my former classmate stating that he has a friend who's connected to a booking agency and can help me get an airfare for less. They advertised the promo of Cebu Pacific which is clearly a legitimate promo because you can see it in the website of Cebu Pacific.

I availed what they advertised and paid them 1,400.00 pesos. But before paying them, of course I made sure if it was not a scam by checking my itinerary online through Cebu Pacific website. The booking was already confirmed so I did not hesitate to pay them the agreed amount.

I found out though that the amount paid to Cebu Pacific was only 1,180 something and realized that they somehow added around 200+ pesos on it, of course I understood that it's their business but that is already a great saving for me right? (That's aside from the fee I paid to the money transfer to pay them).

After browsing through Cebu Pacific website, I found out some important things you can do:

  1. You can reserve  or temporarily book a flight and it's on-hold for 24 hours from booking and you can pay it within that set time.
  2. You can pay that booked flight even if you do not have a Credit Card.
  3. They have a whole lot of options in accepting payments through their partner payment centers and money transfer services and banks through online too!
In paying at the payment Centers, they don't charge any fee! You just have to pay the exact amount stipulated in you booking. (I've tried paying through Cebuana Lhuillier).

Because I have a BDO account and I am also registered to the BDO Online banking, I used it most of the time in paying my Cebu Pacific bookings. It's very convenient because it's just a tap away from my phone and there I have booked a flight.
First Tab (Credit Card / Debit Card)

In the first tab, you can pay via a credit card or debit card of Visa, MasterCard or UATP, or you can navigate directly to the following accepted payment menthos below:

1. DIRECT PAYMENT in BANCNET ONLINE with 40+ Banks

4. Pay using Payment Centers within 24 hours to 7/11, Cebuana Lhuillier, ecPAY, Robinsons Department Store, or SM Business Services Centers

Remember to pay attention to the message that says "Your booking will be held for 24 hours from the time of creation. Please settle the amount due within 24 hours at any of our Payment Center partners below."

After paying, you can check your itinerary and print it online through the Cebu Pacific site.

NOTE: Make sure to choose the tab where and what options you will pay because they have different codes for each of the options. For example, if you intend to pay through BDO, make sure to choose the tab where BDO is (because based on my experience, if you choose BDO, the system will generate 14 numbers for you, while if you choose Cebuana the reference number is only 12)
The list of their partner payment centers is as of January 21, 2016.

Reaction Paper for the movie The Count of Monte Cristo

The Second Part of the Reaction Paper on the Count of Monte Cristo Movie. The Count of Monte Cristo is a great story that helps you to realize how far the reaches of vengeance can really go. When the Count is going around ruining people it seems like he is more of a machine than a person. It seems like he has no emotions and can’t forgive the people who hurt him. Although some people might argue that the people who wronged the Count truly had what was coming to them, some of the Count’s actions could be seen as unnecessary. In the end everyone will be punished or rewarded by God and you shouldn’t be worried about what other people do or say as much as you are worried about yourself. “God will give me justice,” this line which was engraved in the wall on the prison was retained on my mind when I watched the movie” The Count of Monte Cristo.” This movie amazed me very much because of its excellent theme. I really like the story because it has a mixed of drama, suspense and rom

Pluggle Review: 6 Reasons Why I doubt Pluggle and Why I'm Not Joining

First thing first, I am not concluding that this Pluggle is a scam because as per my observation and as far as my knowledge is concerned, people including my close friends seems profiting from this scheme and got the money they invested into it in a short period of time, and with profit ( although I'm sure the return of investment they got was paid by the people they invited and not from the company itself ). I think there's no doubt as to their legitimacy because, YES they are legitimate and are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines as PLUGGLE INC. Are they scam? " Scam " is defined as a " dishonest scheme or a fraud ", are they being dishonest? I think no because they intend to do what they say. Are they " fraudulent "? Fraud is defined as " wrongful or criminal deception intended  to result in financial or personal gain "? This is also vague but I think I was struck by the last pa
