My #SMSelfie: SM Seaside City Cebu the #MallAboveAllElse

The iconic SM Seaside City Cebu's Cube at night.  This is my newest photo in my #SMSelfie journey. Three down so far in the five SM Malls in the Visayas, all from the island province of Cebu. The other two being the SM City Bacolod and SM City Ilo-Ilo which I have never been to. Of all the SM Malls I have visited, the SM Seaside City Cebu has been my most favorite. The huge Sky Park at the 3rd floor is just so amazing with the Mountain View Wing and Sea View Wing to see the cool picturesque mountains and seas of Cebu.  Quick Info from Wikipedia.org SM Seaside City Cebu, also called locally as SM SRP, is a shopping mall owned and developed by SM Prime Holdings located in Cebu City, Philippines that opened on 27 November 2015, is the SM Prime Holdings' third mall in Metro Cebu. Stop Grabbing our Ancestral Land: Preserve The Ancient Spear, Shield, Gongs and Bolo of Bukidnon

The wooden kalasag rests in peace in a small nipa hut called Lawig. His time has ended long ago, but the oppression of IPs continued, and the Tribe has endured it for decades, just don't let the spear and bolo work. It's bloody for sure. The government who is supposed to protect the oppressed and the poor has refused to extend their arms. Everyone is turning blind and deaf with the exploitation of the rights of the people we called "Lumads" and "Indigents" Yes! I myself is one of the people you call Lumad, and everytime I see my fellow Manobos in Bukidnon nod to everything what the government says, it breaks my heart especially if I know they are being used and deceived. We are easy to deceive as what they say. Yes, it's true, and you can barter a stick of tobacco for a piece of land if you wish, or one Carabao for an hectare of land, but that was long ago, at least we can breath deeply now as I say that. Oh sorry, not really, because unt

Meeting my Mother 20 years after Leaving

Tears rolled down her face as she recalls to me her agonizing times from her own relatives. The world is small— we have just met after almost 20 years when she left us to my father together with my two siblings. My Mother broke down to tears telling me about her life, her painful life experiences with her own family. I was moved and shared tears with her as she recalls about her hard times from her own relatives. We have just met, after almost 20 years when she left us to my father together with my two siblings. It was the greatest day of my life, the 2nd of February 2016. It was a busy Tuesday in Pasay City, I was rushing to catch my 9:00 time in for my work as an IT Specialist. I saw the shuttle service and immediately alight the jeepney so I would not run as fast as I could going to the office when I receive a text message from my uncle saying, "Call me! Just an important thing!" There's a whole lot of things rushing to my mind what is this important t

Reaction Paper for the movie The Count of Monte Cristo

This is a reaction paper regarding the movie "The Count of Monte Cristo". Anyone can copy this paper and submit to your teacher who asks for a reaction paper. This was also what I have submitted before when I was in college. I am sharing this for you who make Google as your friend. HAHA. Just be patient looking for answers of your assignments. HAHAHA.  The Count of Monte Cristo is an interesting tale about a sailor named Dantes who changes his whole persona in order to get back at his enemies. Dantes becomes a number of different people in order to carry out his plans. The changes Dantes went through made his different stages as a sailor and later as a mastermind of vengeance seem like day and night. Although Dantes seems very naïve at the beginning of the story, he becomes very sharp during his stay in jail. By the amount of detail and preciseness in his plans, Dantes as the Count can be looked as a mastermind. Much of Dantes’ knowledge comes from the old, thought to

Fixing Undefined Date in a Blogger Post Template

A very common problem for Bloggers especially blogs and sites which uses free blogger templates which are downloaded online is that they mostly encounter errors on the display of dates and times on their web sites. Most of the time, if you will modify the codes, and if you try to display the timestamp in your blog post, you will only see the time, and not a complete UNIX timestamp, so theere is no problem in the code or blogger xml/html codes, the problem lies in the display settings on how the template parses the timestamp in our web site that is understandable to the visitors. This is just a very simple problem that does not require any complex changes in the html or xml codes of our templates. Maybe some of us are trying to fix it through coding but that is certainly a long process and might take much of your time. Here are the very simple steps: 1. Go to your Blog's Settings>> Language and formatting 2. Look at the Timestamp Format , maybe that is set t
