Sending money to your family for free? Yes with Coins.PH

Receipt from Security Bank Cardless ATM withdrawal Do you know how convenient and easy it is to send money to your family and love ones for free? I have been experimenting about the services Coins.ph is offering for like a couple of months now, and I'm quiet impressed by the convenience it gives to me especially that I can send money to anyone who's near a Security Bank ATM for free! Forget about the cheapest pera padala like Pawnshops or money remittances who's charging as low as 15 pesos for every 500, 30 for a thousand pesos and if I did sent this 2,000 pesos transaction with these money remittances, it could have cost me an extra fee of 60 pesos at least and even a hundred peso fee in other money transfers. So why am I sharing this? Because why not? Who doesn't want to save money? Who doesn't want to save that 100 pesos fee everytime you send couple of thousand pesos to your family? This is just so amazing and convenient and you don't even ne

English to Manobo Dialect Translation

Someone posted on The Manobo Facebook Group asking for help to translate her oral piece for school and it got me excited because I have not done any translations yet especially tomy native Dialect, Manobo. Although I am not very fluent in speaking my native tongue, I can still recite and understand most of the words, but I can't guarantee a hundred percent exact terms especially that the dialect I grew up is already mixed with some Visayan terms, and also with the fact that we don't have English equivalent for medical terms and because we just don't use such words.

Tony Parker is missing after winning the game vs Turkey during #FIBAOQTManila

France wins 75 - 63 over Turkey during the FIBA Olympics Qualifying Tournament Semi Finals game at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, July 9, 2016 Not a die-hard fan of San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker though, but when I saw bunch of Filipino fans waiting to see Parker get out of the venue and board their team's bus, I stopped and waited too hoping to get a close-up video or even just a photo of this French NBA Star. Fans freak out everytime someone gets our of MOA Arena with "France" on their shirt hoping to see Parker, and there's some autograph signing for some players, with fans in complete attire with their "Parker" marked jerseys on them, but, he is nowhere to be found. Turkey players have left, and like after 1 hour or more of waiting and all of the French players boarded the bus, the driver gets inside, started rolling the bus and we then realize that where the hell is Tony Parker? How did he got away? 😂 We were

How to disable mobile view of a blogger template

Login to your blog and hit click the " Template " tab at the left panel, then click on the gear icon for settings. Choose the " No " radio button choice to enforce web view and turn off the mobile view. See photo below for the radio button choice. There is actually a very simple way to disable the mobile view of your blogger sites which needs not to be coded or find complicated codes inside your blogger template HTML. This might not be a big issue for bloggers out there because it only becomes an issue if you're running your adsense ads and it doesn't display on the mobile view of your blogger template, but when you try to view the site in web view, the adsense ads displays.

You only have until July 21 to avail of Google's 1 Terabyte free upgrade to your Google Drive Storage

Google rolled out its free 1 Terabyte upgrade to accounts who earned Level 4 in Local Guide last year. But for accounts who signed up to Google Local Guide Program on or before July 7, 2016, and have earned the 200 points tp become a level 4 local guide, they still can be rewarded with the original 1 TB free upgrade for two years. " We are changing the Drive storage benefit for Level 4 from 1 TB to 100 GB, so that we can continue giving Drive storage to all Level 4 qualified Local Guides. Skipping my class to meet HTS in Lumbia Central School as they turns over donated school building

Henry T. Sy or HTS for short as we call him in SMPHI captured during the turning-over of the school building donated by SMPHI, BDOFI and SMFI to Lumbia Central School in November 16, 2012. I was still a scholar of SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) back in 2012 when we were invited to attend and help the foundation during the turn over of the school building to Lumbia Central School, an elementary school in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro. Realizing I have a class that's in conflict with the event, I decided to skip the class because this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the President of SM Prime Holdings, Inc., — the son of Henry Sy Sr., the man behind the SM Foundation, Inc. which keeps me going to college being a scholar of the foundation during that time. The One-storey Four-classroom School Building donated to the Good People of Cahayan de Oro City Arriving at Lumbia Central School, I realized I was the only SMFI scholar who attended the event, with some local media co

Side story on My #SMSelfie with SM City North EDSA

15th SM Mall in My Journey, the SM City North EDSA, Visited on the 17th of December 2015 When I started staying here in Manila for work, I started planning for my new adventure of visiting near SM Malls for my personal travel. I don't go to SM Malls just to shop or buy things I want, rather the things I only need because the reason why I do visit SM Malls is to be there and ultimately reach the goal of completing the visit to all SM Malls in the country, and if lucky enough, I would also love to visit SM Malls in other country and take a selfie with it for my #SMSelfie journey 😂 It took me a while to visit SM City North EDSA which as we know, just a ride away with MRT from Taft and you'll be there in minutes. That was planned actually because I must attend to the annual gathering of Scholars and Alumnus of Kabayan Foundation Scholars which I had never attended before since I studied in Cagayan de Oro City, and since I am here in Manila now working, I must pa

Traversing to Kay-Ibon: The hidden falls of Tanay, Rizal

Kay-Ibon Falls > Kay-Ibon Falls, I'd say is a popular traversal way of Mt. Batolusong if you don't want to be back in the jump off point and of you have someone who's gonna log you out in the jump off point. It might also be a popular swimming destination of local tourist of Tanay because I can say there are still a lot of people there during our visit and other visitors might not be hikers who are traversing Mt. Batolusong but are just there to visit and experience Kay-Ibon Falls. It could also be that others are going the other way around, starting their trek from Kay-Ibon Falls to Duhatan Ridge to Rangyas Peak and back to the Falls. Kay-Ibon Falls I think isn't really for swimming adventure given its little space. But it's worth the trip if you'll gonna try relaxing with the water as it falls on your body giving you free massage--that surely is a priceless experience. Don't worry if you haven't brought with you your towels becau

Stone age throwback: The Grinding Machine of Manobos

Stone Grinder pictured during Kaamulan Festival 2016. Photo by Jeffry Manhulad For us natives, such as lumads of Bukidnon who lived in the remote and mountainous  areas of the Province, "Kaamulan Festival" is not just an ordinary festivity but also an avenue for us to tell the world about our stories--stories that is just too good to be true that once in our lives we have lived and survived a generation with the help of the great tool we've developed like this stone grinder--a tool we use to grind our favorite staple food such as corn back then when grinding machines weren't yet available and when we're still left behind by the We may rarely see it being used today unless for a cultural show and presentation, but we're still lucky we have them now physically, able to touch and feel in our hands, and isn't just laying in a piece of paper, printed.
