here.
I downloaded it to claim a reward of 3 donuts, it's pretty legit since it was sent by the company on their marketing program to install their app and if you do you will be given a coupon to claim your donuts to Krispy Kreme Branch, in my case in Mall of Asia.
I have claimed this kind of reward at KK before so I also downloaded their app because I know it's required to claim the reward.
True enough it's required but my big fault was I didn't logged in before going in their branch so I still ended up using their Wi-Fi which is really really really slow that even the login using Facebook feature isn't loading. I don't know but even I use SM Free WiFi it doesn't load.
Long story short I haven't got the so-called reward of 3 pieces donuts because I can't login on their App, it's my fault anyway because I din't login using my company's free WiFi and I don't have data, it's their rule not to give the reward if you can't login so be it even if I waited almost an hour just to claim my donuts.
I wasted my time there, anyway, after leaving the KK branch without getting my reward, I bought 4 pieces of Dunkin Donuts and ate two, and... well it taste more like donuts too, of course hahaha.
Next thing was, of course uninstall their app because I was not really able to use it so what's the point of keeping?
Alas! I can't uninstall the App!
Although I was able to uninstall the App before, this time I can't. The uninstall button isn't disabled though but when I tap them, it will just display a dialog with its logo in it and no button to uninstall whatsoever.
Pretty cool huh? I reviewed the App Permissions and I just realize it's too much for it's intended function.
Here are the Permissions as listed in Google Play:
Read Call Log? Read calendar events plus confidential information? Add or modify calendar events and send email to guests without owners' knowledge? HmmmMmm! There's more, read sensitive log data and read your web bookmarks and history?
I searched in Google on how to delete this kind of app but the result is showing a different situation where the uninstall button is disabled because the app is a device administrator, but this is not as I checked the device admin app and it's not there and the uninstall button isn't disabled.
I wasn't able to find an easy solution.
I found some answers suggesting to uninstall it using ADB Command which is used by Android Developers to install and uninstall apps during development, and it actually requires you to have the ADB or Android Debug Bridge installed and because I have an Android Studio installed, I also have an ADB so I tried uninstalling it using the ADB Command in Windows Command Prompt to Uninstall the App that cannot be uninstalled using normal process in your smartphones.

Lesson to learn: Always Review App Permission before installing.
