You only have until July 21 to avail of Google's 1 Terabyte free upgrade to your Google Drive Storage
Google rolled out its free 1 Terabyte upgrade to accounts who earned Level 4 in Local Guide last year. |
In an email update Google sent to Google Local Guides members today, it announces the reduction of the free upgrade it is rewarding to Local Guides who earned level 4 from the original 1 Terabyte free for 2 years down to only 100GB for two years.
But for accounts who signed up to Google Local Guide Program on or before July 7, 2016, and have earned the 200 points tp become a level 4 local guide, they still can be rewarded with the original 1 TB free upgrade for two years.
"We are changing the Drive storage benefit for Level 4 from 1 TB to 100 GB, so that we can continue giving Drive storage to all Level 4 qualified Local Guides. Existing Local Guides who were signed up before July 7, 2016 (12am GMT) can still unlock the original 1 TB offer if they reach Level 4 by July 21, 2016 (12am GMT)." Google stated in a support site post.
No problem for me because I got my 1TB upgrade last December 2015 😂 |
