Festival of Spring: The Kahalawan Te Sebseb Festival of Maramag, Bukidnon

Contestant #7, from Barangay Danggawan

Proclamation No. 1284, series of 2016 from the Office of the President of the Philippines has officially declared July 1, 2016 as special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Maramag, Bukidnon to Celebrate its annual spring festival or locally known as "Kahalawan Te Sebseb" festival.

Maramag, a first class Municipality located in the heart of the Province of Bukidnon is known for its beautiful and fresh resorts and springs such as the Waig Crystal Spring Resort, RR Family Spring Resort, MGM Mountain Resort, Edlimar Farm and Spring Resort, and Rockstar Spring Resort to name a few.

Every July of the year, the town is celebrating its founding anniversary and alongside with its celebration is the festival of spring, the "Kahalawan Te Sebseb."

The festival, aside from the usual street dancing and ground presentation of cultural dance from major schools in town also presents their search for Miss Maramag, and this year is becoming more exciting as the town search for its Miss Diamond in its 60th Founding Anniversary.

PS: Maramag is my hometown and contestant # 7 Ms. Vunnie Jean Zerrudo is my elementary classmate and friend representing our small barrio, Barangay Danggawan. It just feels so proud that we've been represented for this exciting celebration.
