Skipping my class to meet HTS in Lumbia Central School as they turns over donated school building

Henry T. Sy or HTS for short as we call him in SMPHI captured during the turning-over of the school building donated by SMPHI, BDOFI and SMFI to Lumbia Central School in November 16, 2012.

I was still a scholar of SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) back in 2012 when we were invited to attend and help the foundation during the turn over of the school building to Lumbia Central School, an elementary school in Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro.

Realizing I have a class that's in conflict with the event, I decided to skip the class because this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the President of SM Prime Holdings, Inc.,the son of Henry Sy Sr., the man behind the SM Foundation, Inc. which keeps me going to college being a scholar of the foundation during that time.

Arriving at Lumbia Central School, I realized I was the only SMFI scholar who attended the event, with some local media covering the turn over, maybe because all of them are busy and got their respective classses, but whatever their reasons are, I'm lucky because I got no important exams so it's kind of reasonable to skip for me :D I also got excited because of the news that the Son of the man we call Tatang Henry is coming over to turn over the building.

When HTS arrived, he was introduced to the guests and the attending local and school officials and was also lucky to be introduced to him by Ma'am Carmen Linda Atayde, the SMFI's Executive Director for Education and Ms. Ling Lansang, "he is our scholar, the son of a farmer in Bukidnonhe's a Manobo," it's indeed one of the unforgettable experiences I will treasure being introduced to the Sy Family and I couldn't be more prouder to bring the name of my Tribe and inspire everyone of us to strive for the best, and send a simple message that "poverty is really not a hindrance to succeed."

I have already graduated in college and finished a degree back in 2015 with the help of SM Foundation, Inc. and Kabayan Foundation, and has always been thankful not only to Sy Family but also to Kabayan Noli de Castro and all the helping hands behind my sucess.

A couple of months after graduating in 2015, the once-in-a-lifetime experience back then meeting HTS has turned into like a lifetime chance to greet him and other Sy Family everytime I get the chance to meet them, in events like SMFI Presentation of scholars or even just in the SMPHI's hallway after I was hired to work for the company directly under himthe SM Prime Holdings, Inc. Head Office in Pasay City.

Recently, news broke out that he'll be retiring as the President of SMPHI and Sir Jeffrey C. Limthe Executie Vice President of SMPHI will take over.

My best wishes for both of this man especially to Sir HTS and I'm writing this to Honor him and the rest of his Family especially to Tatang and Nanang for this wonderful opportunity they have given to me, my Family and my Tribetruly, they have lifted thousands of lives out from poverty with SMFI, and I'm just being greatful that I am one of them now starting to harvest the fruit of the hardwork I invested with the support of their helping hands.

PS: Co #SMIskolarAko, don't skip your classess guys I'm not encouraging you to do the same. I'm just lucky that I don' have exams or major quizzes during that time.

Reaction Paper for the movie The Count of Monte Cristo

The Second Part of the Reaction Paper on the Count of Monte Cristo Movie. The Count of Monte Cristo is a great story that helps you to realize how far the reaches of vengeance can really go. When the Count is going around ruining people it seems like he is more of a machine than a person. It seems like he has no emotions and can’t forgive the people who hurt him. Although some people might argue that the people who wronged the Count truly had what was coming to them, some of the Count’s actions could be seen as unnecessary. In the end everyone will be punished or rewarded by God and you shouldn’t be worried about what other people do or say as much as you are worried about yourself. “God will give me justice,” this line which was engraved in the wall on the prison was retained on my mind when I watched the movie” The Count of Monte Cristo.” This movie amazed me very much because of its excellent theme. I really like the story because it has a mixed of drama, suspense and rom

Pluggle Review: 6 Reasons Why I doubt Pluggle and Why I'm Not Joining

First thing first, I am not concluding that this Pluggle is a scam because as per my observation and as far as my knowledge is concerned, people including my close friends seems profiting from this scheme and got the money they invested into it in a short period of time, and with profit ( although I'm sure the return of investment they got was paid by the people they invited and not from the company itself ). I think there's no doubt as to their legitimacy because, YES they are legitimate and are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines as PLUGGLE INC. Are they scam? " Scam " is defined as a " dishonest scheme or a fraud ", are they being dishonest? I think no because they intend to do what they say. Are they " fraudulent "? Fraud is defined as " wrongful or criminal deception intended  to result in financial or personal gain "? This is also vague but I think I was struck by the last pa
